We had been shopping for our perfect home for some time. We had a check list and high on the list was a swimming pool. The kids wanted one so badly and I have to admit we felt it was time we had one as well. We had decided if we found the perfect home and it did not have a pool we would have one installed because we were that determined to have a pool. After coming to that decision the real estate market opened up and gave us three homes with pools to choose from. They each had something to offer but we knew the one right away. We stood by the pool with our children and told the realtor that we wanted our new home as the pool water glistened in the sun beside us. It was magical. On move in day our reward was going to be a swim. We all worked so hard to get our things moved in and the sun light disappeared. The kids were so disappointed that we had missed our window to swim. They continued to work until the last of the boxes was off the truck and in place. We then surprised them with the lights flipping on in the pool as we all took a 2:00am swim! To this day I think that was my favorite time in the pool. The faces on our children were shocked and excited. Since that day we have bought many pool supplies keeping our pool in the pristine condition that invited us to swim. We have also added many pool accessories to our arsenal of pool fun things. There are few things that have impacted our life more then our swimming pool and we would have it no other way. We have celebrations around our pool as well as times of reflection and relaxation around our pool. The one thing every thing we do around our pool has in common is fun.
