If you have ever planned a wedding then you already know all of the decisions and choices there are on how to make it a special event. When my sister decided that she would get married our gift to her was to pan her wedding in a beautiful and unique way. We had everything all planned when suddenly she had a thought that she wanted to get married outdoors. We were all stunned because she had not said that before but they had talked about it and decided that was the dream wedding under the stars. That left us with not only an outdoor wedding to plan but and outdoor wedding at night. There were many challenges but we met them all. We were able to use generators to get the lights going and there were many of them and a lot of candles well placed as well. We needed everyone to have a good view and we needed to be able to see the stars at the same time. The location was on top of a peak that over looked everything. We felt like we were actually in the sky as the sun set. It was breathtaking. We had everything for the reception including a beautiful cake with a fun cake topper and chocolate fountains with all types of fruits that the guests could enjoy. This was one of those weddings that no one wanted to end. For a long time the guests just hung around sitting in the chairs staring at the stars. They were so taken by the arrangement that several of them wanted us to plan their wedding as well. They spoke to us as though we planned the sky patterns ourselves which is how tangled you became because it was so much a part of the wedding. We would like to take credit for that but we were simply very lucky. Everything just feel into place perfectly. We have many pictures of the event but no picture can give you that feeling that we saw with our eyes. Our favorite picture of the wedding event was one with the guests all gathered around the chocolate fountain laughing and having conversations with the night sky in the background as the sky twinkled. It looked magical.
We have become a society that realizes the benefits of recycling. Although the change has come slowly and still has a long way to go there is progress. We see it in many ways every day. This is the time for many outdoor events. Weddings are really popular for us right now because the weather is so beautiful and it is very easy to find the perfect backdrop with everything in bloom. We have helped with several weddings but we get invited to many as well. One of the most beautiful weddings we went to last year. It took place on the top of a mountain surrounded by nature from every angle. There was a huge array of flowers everywhere blooming and the fragrance that filled the air was magical. As guests arrived we all just stood looking and discussing how beautiful the setup was for the wedding all the way to what a great choice this was. There was green grass everywhere and tables sitting to the side of the wedding location filled with table settings and LED tea lights. It was so magical we could not stop talking about how beautiful it was. There was a lot of time that guests spoke not a word but just stared out in any direction and just enjoyed the space. When the bride and groom arrived they said they choose this place because it gave them the same response we were all having. It was a natural choice for them. For those of us that were invited we were glad they found this hidden treasure that we may not have ever seen. As the sunset was approaching the Battery operated lights gave the area an even more beautiful glow. It was amazing to watch as the sunlight gave way to the Flameless candle with timer. We ate a small dinner under the stars atop a beautiful mountain top with the bride and groom. It was like no other wedding we have ever been to before. It will always go down as one of our favorites. If we were getting married again the that would definitely be our choice. I think every couple left that location and the atmosphere of the wedding feeling a little closer. That is the magic of a perfect location.
When we think of going into the next phase of our lives we have to think of where we would want to settle down. We have to think of many aspects when deciding the location we want to live out our retirement years. It needs to be fun and have plenty to do but it also needs to be convenient and have the amenities we need so we can get the business of life handled in a short period because this is a location meant for fun After all we have worked our entire lives to get to this point so we should enjoy our destination.
